Domestic Violence Is Not Acceptable

Central Coast Express Advocate, 13th November 2013

SAY NO to domestic violence. Brisbane Water Police want to send a clear message that domestic violence is not acceptable under any circumstances. To help bring awareness to this crime police will take part in a walk at 11am on November 25 from Terrigal Surf Club to the Skillion as part of White Ribbon day. Everybody is invited to join in the walk as a gesture of support. Domestic violence takes on many forms and is the most unreported crime because the perpetrator knows the victim intimately. If you are a victim police encourage you to report it. Police can help you take the first steps to removing it. Detective Inspector Glenn Trayhurn, Brisbane Water Local Command.
